The recruitment notification for SSC CGL 2021 exam going to be released on Oct 2021 (tentatively). The online recruitment process will begin once the notification has been released.

Educational Qualifications for SSC CGL

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institution. The educational qualifications vary according to the post for SSC CGL 2020 and are listed below:

Ans6. Absolutely NO. SSC CGL exam has nothing to do with your percentages in 10th, 12th or graduation.
Ans7. B-Tech student is eligible for SSC exam because minimum eligibility of SSC CGL is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

This is one of the most asked question in SSC CGL FAQ. Firstly remember that staff selection commission is an organization that helps aspirants to get selected for various Govt jobs. So, so to apply for ssc cgl you need to be a graduate only, there is no minimum percentage requirement but only if you are applying for statistical invigilator post you should have at least 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level.
Ans9. B.Sc. student is also eligible for SSC CGL. In fact any graduate how has completed this degree is eligible for SSC CGL exams
Ans10. BA student can apply for the SSC CGL exam.
Ans11. Candidates don’t need to worry about the attempts for the exam. Just prepare for the exam without any tension.

Age criteria
The minimum age limit defined for SSC CGL is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years.

Ans13. Except the English language test, all the other tests are conducted bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
Ans14. Since this is a central govt. exams, for every wrong answer by you 0.50 marks will be deducted.

SSC CGL Selection Process
There are four stages includes in SSC CGL Selection Process
Tier 1: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Tier 2: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Tier 3: Descriptive Exam
Tier 4: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)/Skill Test/ Document Verification (DV)
Ans16. As per the notification, there is no CGL Sectional Cut Off in the exam.
Ans17.
There is NO interview conducted in SSC CGL Exam. According to the new recruitment, Interview is replaced by the descriptive examination of 100 marks also known as Tier III exam.
Ans18. There is no predetermined cutoff. It depends on the presentation of the applicants each year.
