The Staff Selection Commission through an addendum issued on 07 January 2020 at its official website, ssc.nic.in, has announced the number of vacancies to be for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination-2019-20. A total of  4893 vacancies have been announced for LDC/JSA, PA/SA & DEO.

Ans4. Educational Qualification

(i). Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

(ii). For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Ans10. Yes, a BA student can apply for the SSC CHSL exam. 

Ans11. No attempts are counted in the SSC CHSL exam. Candidates need not to worry about the attempts for the exam. Just prepare for the exam without any tension.

Ans13. Yes, except the English language test as the other tests are conducted bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test or Typing Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination (Objective paper (Tier-I) + Descriptive Paper (Tier-II). If a candidate has applied for the post of a Lower Division Clerk (LDC), then he is required to appear for a typing test.

Ans16. As per the notification, there is no CHSL Sectional Cut Off in the Tier 1 exam

The SSC CHSL selection process 2020 comprises three stages – an objective test, a descriptive test and a skill test. The aspirants must qualify through all three stages to succeed in the SSC CHSL 2020 selection process.
